Streak

The number of consecutive calendar days on which a user has earned at least one drop. Displayed on the profile and in the app.

Also known as: current streak, coding streak

A streak is the count of consecutive days a user has recorded at least one hook event. Streaks are calculated per account, aligned to the user's local timezone.

VibeMon's streak is intentionally forgiving: a single "grace day" (one calendar-day gap) does not break the streak. This avoids the Duolingo failure mode where a single bad day nukes a 200-day streak and the user quits in frustration.

Current streak and longest streak appear on the public profile and the README badge. Streaks are a competence signal for the user's own benefit — there is no global leaderboard of streak length.
